Chevrolet Colorado Rally Concept revealed in Buenos Aires Motor Show 2011

Chevrolet has revealed its new Chevrolet Colorado Rally Concept, which is apparently based on the Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck that the General Motors has introduced at the 5th International Motor Show in Buenos Aires.
The concept, which is the second developed by GM, is intended to show where the automaker company will be taking the Chevy pickup, which will be the next generation of Chevrolet. On the other hand, the Colorado Show Truck that had its debut at the Bangkok International Motor Show in March is the first.
The new Chevrolet Colorado Rally was created by GM’s South America design team and it comes as a four-wheel-drive vehicle, featuring 18 inch aluminum rims that are fitted to 305/60R18 tires. To the powering, the vehicle will feature a 2.8 liter turbodiesel engine – the same as the Bangkok Colorado show truck.
Furthermore, there are some more features coming with the new concept that it has 140 mm high-performance shock absorbers and a height-adjustable suspension. There are also found a 5.5 HP winch installed on both the front and the rear bumpers with a 23 meter-long steel cable and 4 tons of traction capacity and wholly LED tech lights at the external parts.
The Chevrolet Colorado Rally Concept is finished with a White pearl paint at the outside with a contrasting interior dash in an ash-colored leather with orange stitching for the sport seats. Besides a roll cage, the Rally vehicle has also a center console that is with all the proper dials for a rally racer such as tire pressure adjustment, a control for the stiffness of the dampers and one to operate fire-extinguishers.
The ultimate feature offered with the Rally concept is that the truck is equipped with technology for quickly replacing the air in the cabin. The concept features an Air Boost system that replaces the air in the cabin through a compressed air system and a Hydration Pack that makes sure the driver and co-pilot are properly hydrated when running the race
